NIE number
If you stays more than 3 months in abroad, you must register yourself at Central registry of foreigners We help to obtain Spanish identification number known as the NIE (Numéro de Identificación de Extranjero) or your certificate of registration as a resident foreign national (Certificado de Registro de Ciudadano de la Unión - European Citizen Registration Certificate). NIE number is the first and the most important step to be able to stay in Spain and also required for any type of process in Spain such as: - open a bank account, - buy a property, - get mortgage, - register for a doctor, - register children at school, - establish company - to get any job, etc. If you get the NIE number, It does not mean yet, that you are resident, (you can have a NIE but still live full-time in another country), and does not affect your tax resident status. Must apply for this at Oficina de Extranjería, or if there isn’t any, then the nearest National Police station (Policía Nacional) to where you live. You must have all the required documents, and information, also must to fill in perfectly and completly the registration form, and pay the registration fee. With power of attorney (that is being signed and stamped by notary or by the consul), we can apply for NIE number in act on your behalf. The form of NIE number is a A4 size paper, there you can find your personal details, such as full name, birth date, birth place, nationality, and of course the number of NIE. Also it will be signed and stamped by the National Police.

Please note that the new owner should keep a minimum amount in his / her Spanish account to avoid possible disabling of utility companies.
